GO COLLAGEN !!! GO ELASTIC :)

Who doesn’t want a glowing skin, I am sure everyone does, but the question is are we working for it in the right direction? I guess the answer would be a heartbreaking NO !! Now, if I tell you that you can achieve that in a quite simple manner, I am sure that would leave you stunned. Imagine you being a girl or a boy ( just saying hypothetically ) and the moment you enter a room, everything comes to a still stop, angels start singing and rainbow appears out of nowhere !!! Sounds fancy right ? Yes, it is fancy because the glow you will carry will make fancy things come alive. Enough of talks, lets get our hands dirty and dive into the shitty science, but as you know the work has been done and would be served to you on a platter as usual, because you are a member of beyond_biceps community. ( Sounds fancy again !!! )

Collagen is basically a lengthy chain amino acid and is the greatest protein available in our bodies (Amazed, aren’t you ? We keep talking about proteins and never heard of it ) . It is made up of the individual amino acids Glycine, Proline, Hydroxyproline, and Arginine, plus in the natural world originates in animal tissue, primarily bones and connective tissue. So it is quite clear that taking collagen will help not only in our skin becoming better but also our bones and joints ( we are talking about the body joints here ) becoming healthier.

Now when we know what collagen basically is, the next question that arises is, why do we have to consume it externally? Don’t we have it already or aren’t we getting it from the food we are eating ? The answer is quite simple and yet quite complicated. For instance, protein shakes, why do we take them? Our food already has protein !! Our body has protein, as a matter of fact, our muscles are nothing but protein !! But we still take it right. Same goes with collagen. There are a ton of natural sources of collagen, for instance, green vegetables, citrus fruits, spirulina, olives and so on. However, we require more of collagen because we do not follow a perfect balanced diet. Here comes the Collagen peptide powders, now when anything goes commercial it comes with various varieties. I would say forget them all and go for natural peptide powders, which you can easily find on Amazon or any other site.

Next point to address is the quantity and time of the day to take collagen. Well it won’t sound really scientific or fancy but the truth is you can take collagen at any time of day and a single scoop serving ( 25 gm ). I prefer taking collagen with my protein shake as it completes the protein profile and digests better in the evening after my workout.

BAWA EXPERIENCE !!!!

This section would basically deal with my personal experience of the product. So my personal experience with collagen has been pretty good and I feel my bones and joints functioning well despite of heavy weightlifting and my skin also feels better. So guys I would recommend to give it a shot and you can, since it has zero side effects.

So go for it and stay beautiful !!!!!!

Supplements worth your money

We have to face it. You go to a health store or browse through a supplement distributing online site, you are sure to be bogged down by the weight of choices they offer. They have everything from Mass Gainers, Proteins ( which further consists of blend, concentrated, soy, casein, isolate, hydrolysed and the list goes on and on ), Multivitamins, BCAAs, Pre-workouts, Post-workouts, Creatine, Glutmine-L… bawa list never ending si hai aur apne fefdo mei itni jaan nhi. But to sum it up, I would say they offer more than we can actually chew. So here comes “Beyond_Biceps” for you. When we say puff..puff..Pass we mean everyone has a right to health and we must keep sharing our knowledge. So lets get into some shitty science.

According to various research journals 90% of supplements are not required by the body and they only play Placebo effect with our bodies. We think our muscles are growing and we become stronger, thus, it is more about the mind-muscle connection rather than those pocket eating supplements. If I were you, I would rather not buy so many supplements, and try to save some money for travelling. So the question becomes, which supplement are actually worth it?

For answering this question we have to get our hands dirty again, but the work has been done and I will try to present it here in the most simplest way possible. So basically when we talk about Supplements these are of three types- White, Grey and Black. White ones are absolutely necessary and should be taken, grey ones although might have a little impact but trust me you should be fine without them and then comes the Black ones, they are the absolute m.f.zz, they are not required nor should be allowed to enter the body. I tried thinking of it and came up with this interesting observation, it goes like, anything that has got Silicon atom is to be avoided, and anything that has Carbon and Hydrogen or basically hydrocarbon compounds are fine. Our body is made up of hydrocarbon compounds, so that should be fine. Silicon, on the other hand, is synthetic in nature and creates a completely different environment in the body, for instance, steroids.

Thus to sum things up, neat and clean, I would say go with White supplements which are just two Protein and Creatine. Grey ones like pre-workouts, gainers etc. can be avoided as they create body dependency. Aur baaki jo marji hunda ho jaaye veere Kaala Supplement ni chakna..

NO STRUGGLE ONLY PEACE !!!!!
